Okcate Evita Smith McCommas (Mvskoke) is an event and project manager, cultural and environmental activist, and multimedia artist. Her business partner and husband, Steven McCommas, is an Indigenous ally, videographer and editor, audio engineer, and web developer. They both hold degrees from the University of Tulsa, Okcate in Theatre Performance and Steven in Film Studies.
Through their work at Summerhead Creative, they advance the visibility of progressive and sustainability-minded artists, organizations, and initiatives. Their passions lie with civic engagement and helping each client’s vision come to fruition through innovation, persistence, and collaboration.
